I am a passionate game developer living in Vancouver BC, Canada.

I have a strong background in computer science and software engineering, especially in real-time rendering, gameplay implementation and system architecture design.

I graduated from Peking University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree majored in Computer Science. Then I earned my Masters degree from Masters of Digital Media (MDM) program in 2011. MDM is a professional-oriented program that promotes industry and academic collaboration.

This summer, I will join BigPark, a Microsoft Game Studio and start my career as a game developer.

In my spare time, I make coffee and freelance about the game industry for China Information World, a well-known IT news agency. I also founded an independent game studio called Fairycode a few years ago with my friends.

Dashan is my first name and Yue is my surname. In many Asian countries, people put their surname in front of their first name. That's why I call myself Yue Dashan. Feel free to call me Dashan Yue though, that is my legal name too.
